HAVING SEEN: The approval of the Draft Constitution of the S.D.R. by the extraordinary Ge- neral Meeting of the Soma- li Socialist Revolutionary Party held on the 20-29 Ja- nuary, 1979. --
HAVING SEEN: The Law No. 16 of 20th May, 1979 of the Central Committee of the Somali Socialist Revolutionary Party approving the Draft Constitution of the S.D.R. Art. 57 of the law No. 23 of 16th June, 1979 concer- ning the referendum for Constitution of the S.D.R. --
HAVING SEEN: HAVING SEEN: Art. 114 of the Constitu- tion of the S.D.R. --
HAVING SEEN: The Approval of the Su- preme Court of the Refe- rendum results for the Con stitution of the S.D.R. da- ted 16th September, 1979.
ISSUES THE FOLLOWING DECREE --
Article 1 The Constitution of the Somaii Democratic Republic attached to this Decree shall come into force with effect from 16th September, 1979. --
Article 2 This Decree shall be published in the Official Bulletin of the Somali Democratic Republic. Mogadishu 16th September 1979.
